Don’t know what to look for? Well, if you don’t know the qualities that you’re looking for in a woman that means that you need to go on more dates. Simple as that. You need to keep your mind open to all the different possibilities and flavors available and learn from experience.
The key here is to not fish with a narrow net. Pick 3-4 deal breaker qualities that seem reasonable and leave the rest up to experimentation.
Let’s start with age.
How young is too young? This is a question philosophers have been asking since the dawn of time (kidding). What really traps people here is not knowing what’s “normal” so let’s define that right now. Normal for men is half your age, then add seven. So if I’m 28, I can reasonably date a woman who is 21. That’s the floor, so it’s still in your wheelhouse, but you’ll likely want to shoot for a woman who is 22 or 23 because of their maturity level.
How old is too old? No hard line here but I don’t suggest dating anyone above five or seven year age gap. Do some people make it work with someone the age of their grandma?
Sure, but this not the platform of how to fall in love with a woman twice your age. 🤷 👵
What about location? In today’s world, distance isn’t an issue. Legitimacy is. Don’t be afraid to date across state lines, especially if you’re in an area with a small population of your target market, but also make sure they’re legit. TLDR—don’t get catfished.
Same sex attraction? If you’re someone who finds both genders attractive, that’s not a dead end. I wouldn’t put this as a deal breaker since you likely won’t bring this up until you’re both close enough to have this intimate conversation. You don’t need to find someone comfortable with that before you date them. And it’s important to remember that this doesn’t narrow your opportunities as long as you can assure them that you’ll remain faithful to them like any other person.
This one’s a quick section but the main idea is—if any woman fits within the predetermined age range and has the possibility* of fitting your 3-4 qualifications. Make contact with them!!
*Remember, you don’t need to know if they fit all of your qualifications until after you go on a date with them.*
